Ravi Dubey & Sargun Mehta come together for a new project; Couple turns producers for upcoming show Udaariyaan

Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta are one of the most cutest and talented couples in the Indian Television industry. With their acting skills and talent, the two have made a special place in the hearts of the audience. Now, the couple has added another feather into their cap and kick-started a new project together. Surprised? Well, Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta have turned producers for an upcoming show titled, Udaariyaan. Yes! Sargun and Ravi have donned the producer’s hat Udaariyaan, which will soon air on Colors TV.

The duo is super excited about this new venture together. Sargun Mehta shared how she wanted to tap her creative side and explore exciting projects. “This was my point when I wanted to try my hands at producing a television show. I had an idea in my mind, which I felt could translate beautifully on screen, and I discussed it with Ravi who supported me completely. Every inch of my being believed in Udaariyaan. I believed in my idea, my characters, and their stories,” said Sargun.

“I am happy and proud that Sargun and myself as a team are now turning storytellers with Udaariyaan. Udaariyaan is Sarguns baby it’s conceptualised and developed by her. She has literally worked night and day in making this show, and I am certain that her earnestness and sincerity will win everyone’s heart. I am forever proud of her,” said a proud hubby Ravi Dubey.

Udaariyaan is a story of hopes and dreams of a family set in the backdrop of Punjab. The show revolves around the Sandhu family who has dreamed from generations to migrate to Canada. Now, the weightage to fulfill this dream lies on the daughters’ Jasmine (Isha Malviya) and Tejo (Priyanka Chaudhary). In doing so, Fateh (Ankit Gupta), plays an important role. Udaariyaan takes us through the journey of the characters and their efforts to achieve their dreams. Udaariyaan will premiere on 15 March 2021 on Colors TV.
