Shefali Shah is one of the most talented actresses in Bollywood and there’s absolutely no denying that. Over the years, she has proved her versatility as an actor by taking up challing projects like Delhi Crime, Darlings, and Jalsa among others. Now, Shefali delivered a terrifice performance in Three Of Us. Recently, Shefali along with Swanand Kirkire and director Avinash Arun Bollywood Bubble for a candid conversation. Talking about Shefali, in particular, Shefali opened up about getting an Emmy nomination. That’s not all, she also gave an update on the third season of Delhi Crime.

Shefali Shah reacts to her Emmy nomination

For the uninitiated, Shefali has been nominated for her performance as cop Vartika Chaturvedi in the second season of Netflix’s Delhi Crime. When asked about her Emmy nomination, Shefali said, “I couldn’t believe it. When I got to know I was like ‘Are you sure?’and the person who told me was ‘Why are you so surprised at it?’ but I don’t think it’s sinking in yet. You know you hear of it and then I read it. I was like ‘ha okay’. Probably like it’s too big to imagine. And there is this hope ki ek nomination hi mil jaye. It’s like that.”

The actress added, “After the first season, I didn’t get nominated and I thought okay, I’m never going to get nominated. I’m not good enough but I was really shocked. I don’t think I’ve absorbed it completely.” The first and second season of Delhi Crime received a good response from audiences, as well as critics.

During the candid conversation, Shefali Shah shared an update on Delhi Crime season 3. The actress said, “Obviously it’s an amazing legacy that Richie (Mehta) gave us and then Tanuj Chopra carried it forward and we want to carry it forward but make it even more relatable, relatable in terms of it’s not just a crime thriller. It talks about a lot of social issues and I think we’re going to continue with that and there is a lot of sensitivity, there’s a lot of vulnerability, as well as strength.”

She added, “So, I can’t wait. It’ll only be next year because right now it’s in the writer’s room. When that I don’t know but the day they announce I’ll be jumping the most.”
