Smriti Irani looks like a dream in her latest throwback pic, Sonu Sood says, ‘Kya baat hai’

Smriti Irani is a renowned politician in India today. But before that, she used to rule the Indian television screens in the early 2000s. Her show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi was one of the most successful Indian Tv shows ever. Prior to that, Smriti Irani was also a Miss India contestant. And recently, she left the netizen smitten with a throwback picture.

Smriti Irani took to her Instagram to share a throwback pic from her early modelling days. Joining an online trend, Irani added the hashtags ‘#hamarabhiekzamanatha #tb’. The former actress-turned-politician looks like a dream in the picture as she poses against a wall. Her short curly hair just compliments her sharp features. Her red dupatta in the pic even reminds of the one used in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.

Sonu Sood reacts to Irani’s pic

Seeing this glam avatar of Irani, her fans and peers were left quite awestruck. They took to the comments section to express their awe, including actor Sonu Sood. The actor commented, “Kya baat hai (sic)“. Not just him, but even actress Shubhaavi Choksey said, “gorgeous then, gorgeous now and forever (sic)”. An impressed Rajesh Khattar added, “Abb bhi aap hi ka zamaana hai (sic)”.

On the political front, Irani is currently administrating the Ministries of Women and Child Development and is also the first Non-Muslim to serve as the Minister of Minority Affairs. Personally, she recently held the wedding reception for her daughter. It was attended by celebs like Shah Rukh Khan, Mouni Roy, Ronit Roy, Ektaa R Kapoor, Jeetendra amongst others.
