Srishty Rode undergoes surgery, shares pics from hospital and says she is ‘recovering’

Srishty Rode recently took to her social media and shared health updates while being admitted to the hospital. The actress shared a small video on her Instagram story where she is lying down on the hospital bed wearing a patient gown and has covered her face with a mask. Along with the video, she wrote a note for her fans and followers. She revealed that she has been admitted to the hospital for the last 5 days and had surgery. This came as a piece of shocking news to her fans considering that the actor was posting frequently on social media.

It appears that Srishty asked her fans to ‘wish (her) luck’ before the procedure. In an Instagram post shared five days ago, she dropped a picture from a photoshoot and wrote, “The Caption Has Nothing to do with the picture! :- WISH ME LUCK.” However, she did not reveal any details at the time.

Srishty made her small screen debut with a cameo in Kuchh Is Tara. She has since starred in many shows such as Yeh Ishq Haaye, Shobha Somnath Ki, Saraswatichandra and Ishqbaaz. In 2018, she participated in the reality show Bigg Boss 12, hosted by Salman Khan.

Sometime back Srishty Rode shared a video on her Instagram of herself taking the Covid-19 vaccination. The actress slammed the trolls who made fun of people sharing their photos or videos while getting the vaccine. While sharing the video Srishty wrote “If we upload our vacation pictures we get trolled. If we upload pictures of things that we eat or drink we get trolled. Heck, we even get trolled for uploading photo/videos of the brands that we work with. And these days I see people getting trolled for uploading pictures of themselves after getting vaccinated. So this one for you haters and trollers. I WILL show off my vaccination video without ANY HESITATION because It’s absolutely important for us to put our reach to good use and spread awareness about getting vaccinated. If my video motivates even a SINGLE soul to get vaccinated I will consider that a BIG WIN because that would mean that I could save at least one life. Pictures and videos of other people certainly motivated me to get my shot and it will be wise for you to do so too.”
