Surbhi Chandna and Sharad Malhotra’s supernatural drama ‘Naagin 5’ had been garnering lots of eyeballs for the chemistry exuded by the duo onscreen. Both Surbhi and Sharad took the hotness quotient a notch higher with their camaraderie, however, that did not reflect in the TRP of the show which despite being consistent, failed to climb up the ladder. Now, according to reports in TOI, ‘Naagin 5’ might be going off air in February itself. Yes, you read it right.

A source informed TOI, “‘Naagin 5′ will go off air in February after a six-month run. The date is not yet final. The team is already aware of the development. The last episode will be shot by the end of this month.” The show went on air in August 2020 and now it is being reported that the show will be replaced by another Ekta Kapoor’s supernatural drama based on vampires. There is no confirmation on the news of it going off air as yet.

Balaji Telefilms had previously launched a show on vampires titled ‘Pyaar Ki Yeh Ek Kahani’ which was headlined by Vivian Dsena and Sukriti Kandpal. Speaking of ‘Naagin 5’, the show was launched by none other than Hina Khan along with Dheeraj Dhoopar and Mohit Malhotra. The trio then paved ways for Surbhi, Sharad and Mohit Sehgal to take over with a twist in the plot. With innumerable twists, the show did manage to keep the audiences engaged.
