EXCLSIVE: Surbhi Chandna Opens Up About Her Beautiful And Special Connection With Shiny Doshi; Says, “Some Bonds Are Written Before The Script”

Surbhi Chandna recently opened up about her special bond with Shiny Doshi and how their connection beautifully evolved from a music video collaboration into working together on a larger creative vision under the banner of Full Good Studios. The actress-producer revealed that sometimes the most genuine relationships in the industry are formed unexpectedly, and for her, that happened during the shoot of an Arijit Singh song for the Feel Good Originals music label.

Surbhi Chandna On Her Bond With Shiny Doshi

Surbhi Chandna recently shared that while the song shoot began professionally, the comfort and understanding between her and Shiny developed naturally over conversations, emotions, and shared creative energy on set. She added, “There are some people you instantly feel connected to without even trying too hard, and Shiny was exactly that for me. During the shoot, we connected beyond work. There was warmth, honesty, and a very calm understanding between us which stayed even after the project ended.”

According to Surbhi, what started as a simple collaboration slowly transformed into a friendship built on trust and mutual respect.

She further stated that when the idea of building something emotionally rooted under Full Good Studios started shaping up, she immediately felt Shiny would bring depth and sincerity to the project. Surbhi explained that she did not just want talented actors around her but people who emotionally understood the soul of the story. She shared, “When you are creating something close to your heart, you automatically want people around you who bring positive energy. Shiny has that purity and emotional honesty which reflects both onscreen and offscreen.”

Surbhi On Casting Abhishek Kumar & Shiny In Ishk Dum Aur Idli Rasam 

Adding more about the casting process for Ishk Dum Aur Idli Rasam, Surbhi also spoke about bringing Abhishek Kumar and Shiny together as co-actors for the project. She revealed that both actors brought completely different personalities and strengths, which eventually created a beautiful balance onscreen. She stated, “Abhishek has this raw emotional intensity while Shiny brings grace and emotional softness. When both energies came together, it created something very real and beautiful for the story. That combination honestly became one of the strongest emotional pillars of the project.”

Concluding with an emotional note, Surbhi stated that she feels grateful for the people who became part of this journey organically. She said, “Sometimes projects give you success, but sometimes they give you people who stay with you emotionally for life. For me, this journey with Shiny, Abhishek, and the entire team became much more than work. We did not just create scenes together, we created memories, trust, and relationships that will always stay close to my heart.”
