Bhavya Gandhi, who played formerly played Tapu in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is bereaved. The actor has encountered a family tragedy. In another piece of disheartening news, Bhavya Gandhi has lost his father to COVID 19. According to media reports, the father of Bhavya Gandhi passed due to COVID 19 complications. Yes, if reports are to be believed, Bhavya’s father bid his heavenly abode due to the novel Coronavirus.

As per a report in Dainik Bhaskar, Bhavya’s father was hospitalized after he tested COVID positive. Reportedly, his father was on the ventilator after his health condition worsened. Bhavya’s father was fighting for his life for the past 10 days. However, unfortunately, his father succumbed to COVID complications.

Vinod Gandhi, the father of Bhavya Gandhi was into the construction business. The exact date and reason for the demise of Bhavya’s father are not known. But, if reports are to be believed he passed away due to COVID. Reportedly, Vinod Gandhi was admitted to the Kokilaben Ambani hospital in Mumbai. He is survived by his wife, Yashoda, and sons, Nischit and Bhavya.

Meanwhile, Bhavya Gandhi became a household name for his portrayal of Tapu, Jethala aka Dilip Joshi’s son in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. He essayed the character for 9 years, from 2008 to 2017, but later bid adieu to the show. Bhavya quit TMKOC as he found no growth in his character, and wanted to explore. He was recently seen in several Gujarati films. But, to date, Bhavya shares a close bond with his TMKOC co-stars Disha Vakani, Dilip Joshi and Samay Shah.
