Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah: Neha Mehta REVEALS she’s yet to receive her dues

Neha Mehta, who played the role of Anjali Taarak Mehta had quit Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah in 2020. She worked in the comedy show for 12 years. She was replaced by Sunayana Fozdar. In an interview, Neha has revealed that she is yet to be paid her dues. Yes, she hasn’t received her due of last six months for her work in TMKOC.

In an interview with Times of India, Neha told, “I acted in Taarak Mehta as Anjali for 12 years before quitting in 2020. The last six months’ money is pending.” She added that after she quit the show, she called the makers a few times regarding her pending dues. She doesn’t like complaining and hopes there will be a solution soon and she will get her hard-earned money.

The makers are yet to comment on it.

In 2020, Neha exit the sit-com giving personal reasons. She had said in an interview earlier that she wanted to explore other platforms to grow as an actor. Neha revealed that she was getting some interesting offers but had to turn down the offers because she was busy with Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.

Neha’s on-screen husband played by Shailesh Lodha has also quit the show. Earlier, many actors have left TMKOC. Disha Vakani aka Dayaben, wife of Jethalal was also one of them. Recently, in a promo of the show, it was showed that Dayaben will make her comeback to the show in a grand manner. It’s still not confirmed who will return as Dayaben.
