Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’s actor Neha Mehta aka Anjali Bhabi recently in an interview revealed that the makers of the show are yet to pay her dues of six months. For the unversed, Neha left the sit-com in 2020 after being associated with it for 12 long years. But the makers, Neela Film Productions has different story to say. They have denied Neha’s claims, and called it ‘false accusations.’

In an interview with Times of India, Neha had said, “I acted in Taarak Mehta as Anjali for 12 years before quitting in 2020. The last six months’ money is pending.” She also said that after she quit the show, she called the makers a few times regarding her pending dues. She doesn’t like complaining and hopes there will be a solution soon and she will get her hard-earned money.

The statement reads, “We consider our artist as our family. We have contacted Neha Mehta mulitple times to complete the formalities with us. Unfortunately, she has been reluctant to sign the exit documents without which we cannot do a full and final settlement as per company policy. She also stopped responding to all our communication from past 2 years and she left the show without meeting us. We wish she would have replied to our emails instead of making false accusations about the makers that have given her 12 years of fame and career. We reserve our rights for appropriate action.”

Neha is yet to respond to the statement.
