Viraf Patell ties the knot with Saloni Khanna; check out the couple’s first pic as newlyweds

Actors Viraf Patell and Saloni Khanna are now happily married couple. They had the most unusual wedding instead of a lavish one. The Naamkarann actor and Saloni exchanged wedding vows at Bandra Court, Mumbai on May 6. The couple opted for a simple court wedding, owing to the pandemic. And the couple’s first set of pictures post their wedding is out.

Viraf and Saloni’s friend Saket Sethi shared some pictures of the newlyweds. Viraf looked dapper in an off-white suit while his wife complimented him well as she also opted for a matching delicate work saree. Saloni further wore small glowy earrings that added a cherry on top and carried a wavy hairstyle with matching hair clips.

The lovebird’s court marriage was only attended by three friends who also acted as witnesses. What’s even more interesting was that instead of a ring, Viraf sealed the deal by giving Saloni a rubber band as a ring. “I couldn’t get a ring for her this time as it wasn’t available. So, I put a rubber band on her ring finger,” said Viraf. On her part, Saloni told TOI, “I am anxious, hopeful and excited, all at the same time! This was more memorable than I had thought.”

Both Viraf and Saloni organised a post-wedding meet for their family and closed friends through a zoom call seeing the current situation and the need of the hour. The couple met each other during an online show a couple of years ago and instantly struck a friendship. The actors got engaged on February 20.

On the work front, Viraf was last seen in Koi Jaane Na, while Saloni played a pivotal role in The Raikar Case.
