About Baby Falak 2012 Case
In January 2012, Falak was a two-year-old girl admitted to Delhi’s AIIMS hospital. She came in with severe head injuries, human bite marks, and fractured limbs. She was brought in by a teenage girl claiming to be her mother. Medical professionals, concerned by her grave condition, alerted authorities. Investigations revealed that the teenage girl was herself a victim of human trafficking. She was caring for Falak under the influence of an adult man who had manipulated and abused both. Further inquiry uncovered a widespread trafficking network involved in child exploitation, forced prostitution, and the sale of women for marriage.
