The Freelancer: Anupam Kher & Mohit Raina bring a true story to life in a war-torn nation

The highly acclaimed filmmaker Neeraj Pandey has announced his upcoming web series titled The Freelancer, starring Anupam Kher and Mohit Raina in pivotal roles. The filmmaker took to his Instagram to treat us with a teaser, and it is nothing short of heart-wrenching, action-packed, and appears to be a thrilling series.

The web series The Freelancer is based on the book A Ticket to Syria by Shirish Thorat. Similar to the book, the series will revolve around a true story. Set in the war-torn nation of Syria, the plot centres around a daring rescue operation to free a young girl named Aliya. Mohit Raina takes the lead role as the freelancer, while Anupam Kher portrays the analyst Dr. Khan. Additionally, Kashmira Pardeshi will be seen in the role of Aliya.

The teaser showcases the behind-the-scenes of the episodes. It also provides a sneak peek into what the show has in store for us. Anupam Kher and Mohit Raina’s acting skills already look highly impressive and captivating.
