Star Plus’ Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKKH) has ruled the viewers’ hearts for years now. The popular show has completed 12 years today. Yes, it has been an audience favourite for the last 12 years! To mark the occasion, the show’s producer Rajan Shahi and actress Shivangi Joshi performed a puja. The entire cast and crew of YRKKH also came together to celebrate the occasion.

When it comes to television, it’s no less a remarkable feat to run a show for 12 long years. The makers of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai are on cloud nine that they have successfully run the show for more than a decade.

Not just completing 12 years, the show will also air its 3300 episode today. Earlier talking about the huge feat his show has achieved, Rajan told IANS, “It is going to be a double celebration for us. Apart from the fact that Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai will complete 12 years, the day also coincides with the show completing 3,300 episodes. That has been the maximum number of shows any Hindi GEC show has ever touched.” Owing to the Covid-19 scare, the celebrations were kept low-key.
