‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’: Makers incorporate Coronavirus in the plot; get mercilessly trolled by netizens

The Coronavirus pandemic brought the entire world to a standstill. During the unlock phase one, lockdown restrictions were eased and permissions were granted to resume shooting by adhering to the guidelines issued by the government. Several popular shows are now all set to air their fresh episodes.

Much to everyone’s surprise, the makers of ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ have even incorporated Coronavirus in their show’s plot. But fortunately or unfortunately, it didn’t go down well with the netizens and they trolled the makers by coming up with some hilarious memes.

A particular scene that made netizens go ROFL was when Mohsin Khan helps Shivangi Joshi apply hand sanitiser, wear gloves and face shield. Not only that he even kisses her through face shield. Trolls had a field day coming up with hilarious jokes.

Indian TV shows never cease to amaze us. And this is the new level of their creativity.

Though all the makers are following the guidelines and taking extra precautions, still positives cases have been reported. Recently, Star Plus’ ‘Kasautii Zindagi Kay’s lead actor Parth Samthaan tested positive for Covid-19. Thankfully his co-stars have tested negative so far.
