Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Spoilers: Kartik and Sirat to perform a post wedding ritual?

A new problem awaits Kartik (Mohsin Khan) and Sirat (Shivangi Joshi) in their life. Kartik and Sirat are living a lie in the show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. They’ve lied about their marital status. Sirat, on the other hand, is not happy with this and urges that Kartik tell the truth to the family, but he is determined about it. Kartik reassures Sirat that she is secure and that she is his responsibility.

Daadi presents Sirat with jewels and vermilion and invites her to participate in the ‘Teej puja’ at home. Kartik asks Sirat to opt out if she feels uncomfortable because they aren’t legally married. Sirat, first confused, decides to dress up as a married woman and participate in the celebration. During the celebration, only the media arrives at the Goenka Villa and interrogates Sirat.

Later, Sirat challenges the media, saying she would prove her innocence in a week. She urges to the Goenka’s also to put up with her for another week and promises to make everything go away. They don’t agree or disagree with Sirat’s request, but Kartik encourages her by stating he’s on her side.

They then request Dadi to do the puja rites in their room, and she agrees. During their lunch, Kartik and Sirat discuss their fake marriage, which Kairav overhears. Sirat then attempts to persuade him that they had no other choice than to lie to everyone.

In the forthcoming episode, Dadi orders everyone to conduct a ritual in which the Goenka males must tie mangalsutra around their wife’s neck. She asks Kartik to do the same. Sirat is all concerned and looking at Kartik. What is Kartik going to do now?

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is produced by Shahi’s Director’s Kut Productions and it airs on Star Plus. Shivangi Joshi, Mohsin Khan, Swati Chitnis, Sachin Tyagi, Niyati Joshi, Harsha Kandeparkar, Ali Hassan, and Shilpa Raizada appear in the show.
