Virat Kohli: I was away for something (marriage) which is much more important than Cricket

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma‘s wedding turned out to be the most glamorous event of the year 2017. For days now, all that we are hearing about is Virushka’s big fat wedding. Now, after all the celebrations, the couple has left for South Africa where Virat would be the part of India vs South Africa test series. But before the Indian Cricket Team left for South Africa, a press conference was held here. (Also Check: Virushka’s Finland honeymoon was planned by THIS man, details inside!)

The captain of Indian Cricket team Virat Kohli was asked as to how difficult would it be for him to get back to cricket after all the marriage shenanigans. To this, he said,

Not difficult at all, I was away for something (marriage) which is much more important. That is a period that will always remain special for both of us. Switching back to cricket is not difficult at all because it is in my blood, like it is for every other team member and the team management as well, so getting back to professional front is not difficult at all.

I haven’t done anything in the past three weeks. I have been training to get back to play in South Africa. Somewhere in your head you are always thinking about you have something important coming up, so subconsciously you are looking forward to it (South Africa tour). So, mentally I am very well prepared.
