Mandana Karimi with husband Gaurav

A month ago, former ‘Bigg Boss’ contestant and present Bollywood actress Mandana Karimi had shocked one and all when she came out in the open about her abusive marriage and filed domestic violence charges against her husband Gaurav Gupta and his family. The conditions were so bad that the actress was thrown out of her husband’s home and was left stranded with no money and no roof on her head, which compelled her to take the drastic step. According to Mandana, Gaurav’s family had tried to forcibly convert her to Hinduism as well, and wanted her to quit her acting career, which she did not agree to. On the family’s part, Gaurav’s younger brother Gautam accused the actress of destroying the family peace.

But here’s a shocker. According to recent reports that are coming to light, the actress has withdrawn her complaint, and this can be an attempt to save her marriage. (Also Read: ‘I have no clothes, no money’, Mandana Karimi makes shocking revelations about her marriage!)

Earlier, the actress had demanded a monthly maintenance amount of Rs 10 lakh and an alimony of Rs 2 crore for the harassment and trauma she had gone through during the whole incident. But now, it seems like the actress is really bidding to save her marriage, as the only things she has asked her husband for, is her belongings, which are still in her marital home.

Well, we don’t know who is the guilty party here, but if Mandana is really keen on re-entering into an abusive relationship just to save the marriage, we are not sure if that is a wise step.

Mandana came into limelight with the ninth season of ‘Bigg Boss’, the popular reality TV show hosted by none other than superstar Salman Khan. The actress has done many television commercials with leading actors of Bollywood, and made her debut on the big screen in the 2015 movies ‘Roy’ and ‘Bhaag Johnny’, in special roles.
