Priyanka not getting actresses for her Hindi production ventures?

Priyanka Chopra has been producing regional films, and her Marathi production ‘Ventilator’ had even won three National Awards. But, the actress-turned-producer yet to produce a Bollywood flick. Well, apparently, Priyanka is ready to produce two Bollywood films, but she is finding it difficult to get actresses for the movie.

A source close to the actress stated, “Priyanka has already read two Hindi scripts, which she has loved. She wants to produce them, and is currently finalising things.”

“One of them is a two-hero film. That’s more of a love triangle with just one actress being paired with two actors. But, PeeCee is facing a problem in getting actresses for both the films. The source said, “Priyanka wants to cast leading young, A-listers for the two-hero film, but no one is agreeing to play the second lead. Everyone wants to be the guy, who ends up with the girl. Priyanka, who has been part of several two-heroine films in the beginning of her career, is finding this reason hard to fathom.”

Talking about the woman-centric flick, the source stated, “None of the actresses are game to playing a single mother. PC is looking at a certain age bracket and everyone feels this would stereotype them. In fact, since PC is not finding the right person for the project, she is contemplating doing it herself.”

We wonder if Priyanka might land up doing one of the films.

Talking about Priyanka’s films as an actress, she has two Hollywood films in her kitty, ‘A Kid Like Jake’ and ‘Isn’t It Romantic?’. Well, currently there has been no official announcements of her being in any Bollywood film, but reportedly, she will be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Gustakhiyan’, opposite Abhishek Bachchan. The movie is said to be based on the life of eminent poet and lyricist Sahir Ludhianvi, wherein Priyanka would be reportedly essaying the role of celebrated novelist Amrita Pritam.
