Salman Khan to bring back Navjot Singh Sidhu on ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’?
Navjot Singh Sidhu and controversies go hand in hand, don’t they? The Congress MLA and former Indian cricketer was recently sacked as a judge from ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ in the wake of his comments post the Pulwama attack. Sidhu, as it seemed, was going against the popular opinion and was advocating for terror and talks with Pakistan should be kept separate.
According to the latest report in Dainik Bhaskar, the agreement between Sidhu and Sony TV was never terminated. In fact, the channel and the show’s producer Salman Khan are waiting for the dust to settle so that they can bring Sidhu back on the show. Sidhu could soon make a comeback after the tempers cool down.
A source quoted by Dainik Bhaskar said, “When this entire controversy happened; the channel was still not sure on what decision to make. It was the producer of the show, Salman Khan’s immediate decision to ask Sidhu to step down from the show. Obviously, as a producer, Salman did not want to take a chance, especially when so much money has been involved in its production. The show is doing well in terms of TRP and Salman doesn’t want to lose it just for the sake of one person. And so, he decided to take a call immediately.”
There were also reports of Archana Puran Singh replacing Sidhu and she apparently shot for quite a few episodes too. Navjot Singh Sidhu is always batting on the front foot and loves speaking his mind without worrying about consequences. Now let’s see if he is actually back on the show or not.
