Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide on June 14 this year at his Bandra residence and the police have been investigating the case with from every possible angle. The actor was also speculated to be in depression and stress because of his professional life.

Mumbai Police interrogated more than 20 people that includes Sushant’s alleged girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali, casting director Mukesh Chhabra, Sushant’s ‘Dil Bechara’ co-star Sanjana Sanghi and Yash Raj Films’ casting director Shanoo Sharma among several others. Now, the latest reports state that Salman Khan will not be interrogated in connection with this case.

Last week Mumbai Police had questioned celebrity talent manager Reshma Shetty for almost five hours. She previously used to work for Salman. Earlier it was reported that Salman will also be interrogated in Sushant’s suicide case but now according to a report by News18, the DCP of Mumbai Police has denied the reports and said that Salman will not be questioned.

Earlier, a petition was filed against Salman Khan, Ekta Kapoor, Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Karan Johar by Sudhir Kumar Ojha in Bihar’s court. But even that petition was dismissed by Cheif Judicial Magistrate of Muzaffarpur.

Previously, the ‘Bharat’ actor had urged his fans to show their support to Sushant’s family and fans in these testing times. He took to his Twitter handle and wrote, ” A request to all my fans to stand with Sushant’s fans n not to go by the language n the curses used but to go with the emotion behind it. Pls support n stand by his family n fans as the loss of a loved one is extremely painful.”
