Aamir Khan got really emotional after he watched the Amitabh Bachchan starrer Jhund which is all set to hit the theatres in a couple of days. In a video shared by TSeries, Aamir Khan is seen heaping praise of Jhund as he got teary-eyed. The Laal Singh Chaddha actor was seen meeting the actors of the movie and was astounded. Jhund is produced by Bhushan Kumar and directed by Nagraj Popatrao Manjule.

In the video, Aamir was heard saying that Jhund is a film that ‘breaks whatever we learnt in last 20-30 years’. Calling the Amitabh Bachchan starrer ‘one of the greatest films’ Aamir also complimented the children from the movie.

Jhund is based on the life of social worker Vijay Barse. He had helped slum kids focus on their talent for playing football and form a team. After watching the movie, Aamir was heard saying, “What a film. My God. Bohut hi behtareen film hai (It’s an amazing film).” The actor git really emotional and wiping his tears, Aamir said, “It has happened for the first time that a film has received a standing ovation during a private screening. I don’t have words to say. The way you have captured the emotions of girls and boys of India, it’s unbelievable. The way the children have worked is unbelievable.”

Khan further added, “What a film you have made! It’s a fantastic film. It’s very unique, I don’t know how you guys were able to make it. The spirit that you have captured doesn’t come from logic. The film breaks and undoes whatever we have learnt in the last 20-30 years (waves his hand). You have made a football of that (laughs).”

Jhund is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Raaj Hiremath, Savita Raj Hiremath, Manjule, Gargee Kulkarni and Meenu Aroraa under the banners of T-Series, Tandav Films Entertainment and Aatpat. The movie will be released in the theatres on March 4.
