Aamir-Khan-Ira-Khan

While most of the star kids today pursue their naturally generated interest in acting and want to step in front of the camera, Aamir Khan‘s daughter Ira is a tad different. This star kid has decided on pursuing music as a career choice.

And since she has shown her inclination towards music, daddy Aamir is making sure she gets the best training. Ira is now set to join music composer Ram Sampath as his assistant. Ram has worked with Aamir in ‘Delhi Belly’ and also scored the music of ‘Talaash’. His latest venture as a music composer for Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Raees’. Says a source, “Though Ira was inclined towards music since childhood, it was not something she wanted to explore, so far. But now, she wants to see the creative, production and management side of music, for which she will be joining Ram.”

The source also adds that Ira wanted to work with Ram as she feels comfortable working under him and has also always liked his music. “Her favourites are songs from ‘Talaash’ that starred her father and ‘Ambarsariya’ from ‘Fukrey’,” says the source.

Ira’s interests have always been different. She is also into sports and played football in school and college. In fact, two years ago she had even organised a celebrity soccer match to raise funds for an animal welfare shelter.
