Besides working in the movies, superstar Aamir Khan is also the founder of the Paani foundation, a not-for-profit company, set up in 2016 to fight drought in rural Maharashtra. The ‘Dangal’ star had recently organised a competition called the ‘Satyamev Jayate Water Cup’, in which villages had to compete to win prizes for the best watershed management work.

Every year, Paani Foundation invites all villages from selected talukas to participate in the six-week long competition. This year the winner was Takewadi Andhali, a village in Maharashtra that has won the Satyamev Jayate Water Cup 2018.
