Ahaan Panday To Reunite With Mohit Suri For Another Romantic Drama After Saiyaara Success- Report

Ahaan Panday is set to reunite with filmmaker Mohit Suri for a new romantic drama backed by Yash Raj Films. Following the success of “Saiyaara” (2025), reports indicate that Mohit initially developed a different rom-com concept. The current buzz suggests that the script is now being tailored to fit Ahaan’s profile. The filming is expected to commence later this year. An official announcement is anticipated soon.

Ahaan Panday To Reunite With Mohit Suri?

“Saiyaara,” which starred Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, grossed an impressive Rs 577 crore worldwide. According to Variety India, Ahaan is set to lead Mohit Suri’s next romantic project for Yash Raj Films. “Mohit finished writing the plot for his new film, a romcom with an older guy and a younger girl. But that didn’t work out with the actor he had in mind. It was Aditya Chopra who suggested he make another rom-com with Ahaan. Since his second film is an action film in which he plays a gangster, the producer felt that the duo returning with romance is something the audiences would lap up,” read the report.

The portal further reports that, buoyed by the success of “Saiyaara,” expectations are high for Mohit’s next venture. While several actors were considered, it has now been confirmed that Ahaan Panday is on board for the upcoming film.

Presently, Ahaan is shooting for Ali Abbas Zafar’s action romance. It also features Sharvari, Aaishvary Thackeray, Bobby Deol, and Jimmy Shergill. In this project, Ahaan explores the action-romance genre and is gaining valuable experience ahead of his next lead role.
