Sushant Singh Rajput died on June 14. Apparently, the actor committed suicide in his Bandra residence. However later his family expressed doubts over the suicide theory and alleged that the actor was murdered.

Recently, AIIMS in their report to CBI ruled out the murder theory. However, Sushant’s family expressed their displeasure over the report and called it inconclusive. Earlier today, we came across Times Now report of AIIMS Forensic head Dr. Sudhir Gupta’s alleged leaked audiotape in which he had claimed that Sushant was murdered. Reportedly, Gupta had made those claims on the basis of the pictures of Sushant’s mortal remains.

Now after several questions were raised by Sushant’s family over Gupta’s changing statements, the doctor has finally reacted to those allegations.

Reacting to the recent reports and speaking to India Today, Gupta said, “Yes, everyone doubted when CBI started its investigation. We investigated all doubts and then came with this opinion. Now, there should be no doubts. It was a seven-member team of doctors who came to this conclusion that SSR died by suicide.” The senior doctor also said that 7 member team arrived at the conclusion unanimously.

Previously speaking to ANI, Dr Gupta had said, “The presence of any seductive material was not detected by Bombay FSL and AIIMS toxicology lab. The complete examination of ligature mark over the neck was consistent with hanging.”

AIIMS had handed over its report to CBI on September 29.  Meanwhile, Sushant’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti had demanded an explanation over Gupta’s ‘U-turn’ but looks like she won’t be buying the senior doctor’s explanation. Whereas the late actor’s family lawyer Vikas Singh had said that he will ask the CBI to constitute a fresh forensic team. The family is also waiting for an official statement from CBI.
