Actress Pushpa Joshi, who had made her Bollywood debut with Ajay Devgn starrer, ‘Raid’ breathed her last on Tuesday. She was 87-years-old. Pushpa had made her Bollywood debut when she was 85-year-old. And she featured in quite a few projects since then. Reportedly, Joshi suffered from a fracture as she slipped at her house last week. The actress was juggling with her weak health condition for some time now.

As per a report in Times Now, Pusha was hospitalized in one of the hospitals in Mumbai, but unfortunately, she breathed her last even after having a successful operation.

Filmmaker Raj Kumar Gupta, who had worked with Pushpa in his directorial ‘Raid’ took to his Twitter handle to offer condolence. He wrote, “Very sad to hear about the passing away of Pushpa Joshi ji. One of the highlights of my directing career was watching you perform in RAID. You were a live wire on and off the sets. Wherever you are you will be smiling and spreading happiness Dadi ji. We will miss you. RIP.”


Joshi was fondly called as ‘Swag Wali Dadi’ and ‘Fevikwik Dadi’ as she was known for her joyous behavior with everyone on the sets.
