Actor Ajay Devgn, remembering his late father Veeru Devgan, shared a heart-melting post on his first death anniversary. The ‘Tanhaji’ actor shared an emotional video comprising a collage of some rare and unseen pictures with his late father on his social media handle.

Paying a heartfelt tribute to his father, Ajay took to his Instagram handle and wrote, “Dear Dad, it’s a year since you left. However, I can feel you beside me—quiet, caring, protective; your presence is forever reassuring ?(sic).”

Ajay’s industry friends and colleagues soon poured their heartfelt messages on his post. Abhishek Bachchan and Dia Mirza left praying emoticons in the comment section.

Veeru Devgan died on May 27, 2019, due to age-related illness. He was one of the most renowned action-director in the Hindi film industry. He had choreographed fight and action sequences in more than 80 films. He has noted films like ‘Lal Baadshah’,‘Ram Teri Ganga Meli’, ‘Sitamgar’, ‘Ishq’, ‘Mahaanta’, ‘Itihaas’, ‘Sanam’, ‘Prem Granth’, ‘Jaan’, ‘Haqeeqat’, ‘Prem’, ‘Dilwale Divya Shakti’, ‘Alag Alag’, ‘Mar Mitenge’, ‘Waqt Ki Aawaaz’, ‘Aaj Ka Arjun’ and ‘Hindustan Ki Kasam’ to his credit.

He even directed a film ‘Hindustan Ki Kasam’ which featured his son Ajay.
