‘Bharat’ director Ali Abbas Zafar is the latest to fall prey to cyber-crime. Both his Twitter and Instagram accounts got hacked. Pictures and messages were randomly sent to people from his accounts. The filmmaker took to his Twitter handle to warn his fans and followers that his accounts were hacked and a report has been filed. Once it is fixed, he will tweet.

Ali Abbas is not the first celebrity whose social media profiles got hacked. Earlier Twitter accounts of Amitabh Bachchan, Shahid Kapoor, Adnan Sami, Karan Johar, Rishi Kapoor, Anupam Kher were also hacked. Recently, Amrita Rao also became the victim of cyber-crime.

Talking about Amitabh Bachchan, the hackers changed his Twitter profile picture to that of Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan. Adnan Sami’s account was also hacked by the same group that hacked Mr. Bachchan’s Twitter handle.

These days anyone can fall prey to hackers. So, everyone including the celebs, need to be very careful.

On the professional front, Ali created a tsunami at the box office with his last release ‘Bharat’ starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif in lead roles.
