Alia shares a good bond with filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Last year, Alia delivered a terrific performance in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film Gangubai Kathiawadi. A few days ago, Alia won Best Actress trophy for her performance in the film at the Dadasaheb Phalke Awards.

If reports are to be believed, Alia and Ranveer will be reuniting with Sanjay Leela Bhansali for Baiju Bawra. Alia and Ranveer will also be seen in Karan Johar’s upcoming film, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani which is slated to release in July, 2023.

Sonakshi Sinha, who will be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Heeramandi, also attended the birthday bash.

On the other hand, Alia recently grabbed attention after she slammed a media portal for ‘invading her privacy’. The actress slammed a publication for sharing pictures of her sitting inside her living room.

The actress had shared a post on her Instagram Stories saying, “Are you kidding me? I was at my house having a perfectly normal afternoon sitting in my LIVING ROOM when I felt something watching me… I looked up and saw two men on the terrace of my neighboring building with a camera right at me! In what world is this okay and allowed? This is a gross invasion of someone’s privacy! There’s a line you just cannot cross and it’s safe to say all lines were crossed today! @mumbaipolice.”

Janhvi Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Karan Johar, Shaheen Bhatt, Arjun Kapoor, and Soni Razdan among others extended their support to the actress.
