Handsome hunk Sidharth Malhotra and beautiful actress Alia Bhatt started their Bollywood career with Karan Johar’s directorial, ‘Student of the Year’. Soon after their debut, the two started dating each other. Unfortunately, after dating for a year, Alia and Sidharth parted their ways. Ever since then, the former couple has refrained from being at the same events and have always avoided talking about each other until very recently.

On Karan Johar’s chat show ‘Koffee With Karan’, Sidharth said, “We haven’t met after it. Our relationship is civil… I don’t think it’s bitter. It’s been a while. I have known her for much longer even before we dated. I gave my first ever shot with her in ‘SOTY’ so there is so much history.” Sidharth was all praise for his relationship with Alia and how he has only fond memories with her.

And now, Alia has also commented on the same saying how there are no bad vibes. In a recent interview, Alia said, “I have a lot of love and respect for Sid. We started off together in the industry. I have known him for a long time and there’s too much history between us. Honestly, there will never be issues. I have nothing but just positivity in my heart for him. I’m sure he wishes the same as well. We have witnessed several milestones of our lives together. He spoke about meeting and chatting and we were fine. There are no bad vibes.”

On being asked if they can be good friends, Alia replied saying, “Yes, absolutely, why not? If two individuals can come to terms with whatever has happened and don’t keep things in their heart, it’s definitely possible.”

It is to be noted that Ranbir and Alia are in a relationship. The couple, who fell in love on the sets of ‘Brahmastra’, are no longer hesitant about making their relationship public.

On the work front, Sidharth is currently working with Parineeti Chopra for ‘Jabariya Jodi’. On the other hand, Alia will be seen in Mahesh Bhatt’s directorial comeback, ‘Sadak 2’. Besides Alia, the film also has Sanjay Dutt and Aditya Roy Kapur in lead roles.
