Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan team up for a crime thriller

Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan and superstar Shah Rukh Khan are all set to team up once again for a film. The two stars have worked together in hit films like ‘Mohabbatein’, ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’ and ‘Veer-Zaara’. But it has been a long time since the Shahenshah and the Badshah have shared the silver-screen.

It is now being reported the duo is all set to reunite for a crime thriller. But here’s the twist. Unfortunately, the two will not be sharing screen space. As per a Mumbai Mirror report, Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan will come together for Sujoy Ghosh’s crime-thriller ‘Badla’. However, SRK will be producing the movie that also stars Taapsee Pannu in a pivotal role.

The news was confirmed by Sujoy Ghosh who said, “When you get an actor like Amitabh Bachchan, half your battle is won as he’s every director’s delight and I’m extremely excited to direct him. Also, I have been trying to work with Taapsee for a while. This is the perfect story to collaborate with her on. My excitement is doubled now that the film is being produced by SRK. On the work front, SRK is busy with Aanand L Rai directorial ‘Zero’. The movie also stars Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma. On the other hand, Amitabh Bachchan is busy with ‘Brahmastra’ co-starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.
