Amitabh Bachchan is known for creating awareness on socially relevant topics and also he does his best by contribution to society. Now, the legendary actor has donated Rs 51 lakh to the Chief Ministers Relief Fund in Bihar. The incessant rainfall affected districts of Bihar. Patna, Kaimur and Bhagalpur were affected the most. The cheque with a letter addressed to Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, was handed over to Deputy CM Sushil Kumar Modi on Wednesday by the Bachchans representative Vijay Nath Mishra in Patna.

As reported by the Press Trust of India (PTI), in the letter, Mr. Bachchan wrote, “I am deeply stricken by the natural calamity that has hit the state of Bihar. My deepest condolences and sympathies to all whose lives have been affected in the recent flood”.

“Albeit in a small way, I extend my helping hand in the restoration of human life in Bihar”, Big B wrote in the letter.

Today Amitabh Bachchan has turned a year older and his fans have poured in with their wishes for Big B. The actor took to his Twitter handle to thank his fans for the wishes.

On the professional front, Amitabh Bachchan will be seen in ‘Chehre’, ‘Gulabo Sitabo’,  and ‘Brahmastra’ among others.
