At the recent trailer launch of his upcoming film ‘Pink’, the veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan spoke about how people perceive him as a false modest person.

He said, “As an actor, I have been in this line for 45 years. Most of them are new faces in this film and you have not seen them before. But once you see the film, you will not see me you will only see them. It’s exceptional work that they have done, and I say this from the bottom of my heart. I am not being modest. I know a lot of people call me a false modest person, but this is the honest truth.”

The ‘Piku’ superstar said he had no problems in enacting those scenes as they were important for the movie. Big B said, “If the lines are going to be supportive of the legal argument or track in the film, I felt it is important to say. It was justified to say it. It’s harsh, confrontational and embarrassing as those standing in witness box are not going to accept anything readily. It’s the language that the lawyer takes to justify the event that has taken place in the film. It is harsh but true.”
