Recently, megastar Amitabh Bachchan tested positive for Covid-19. He was in isolation at his residence. The actor was sharing his health updates with his fans via his blogs. He has tested Covid negative and the news has been shared by Mr Bachchan on his latest blog. He has also resumed work.

He wrote in his blog, “Back at work…your prayers, gratitude… negative last night .. and 9 days isolation over… mandatory is 7 days”. The 79-year-old- actor also thanked his fans, addressing them as his extended family, for their well wishes.

“My love as ever to all .. you are kind and concerned throughout .. the family Ef so full of care… have only my folded hands for you,” wrote Big B.

Earlier, in his blog, the actor questioned the apprehensions of getting back to work after recovering. He wrote, “Having adjusted to the isolatored being .. when the routine of work begins the apprehensions shall obviously take over .. will it be the same conditions .. will I be able to do it .. will there be shortfalls .. how shall it be addressed .. will the work place be tolerant to my shortcomings ..”.

Amitabh Bachchan contracted the virus for the second time. It was in July, 2020, he was infected with the deadly virus. He was treated at the Nanavati hospital, Mumbai where he was admitted for more than two weeks. His son, Abhishek Bachchan, daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and granddaughter Aaradhya had also tested Covid positive at that time.

On the work front, Mr Bachchan will next be seen in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra Part One: Shiva that has Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. He also has Goodbye with Rashmika Mandanna, Project K with Prabhas and Deepika Padukone, The Intern remake with Deepika Padukone and Sooraj Barjatya’s Uunchai.
