De De Pyaar De 2 starring Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh is garnering everyone’s attention. After the success of the first part, fans are eagerly waiting for the second part. On this note, according to the latest report, there’s going to be a addition in the movie. Reportedly, actor Anil Kapoor will be joining the sequel, locking horns with Ajay Devgn.

Anil Kapoor to join Ajay Devgn in De De Pyaar De 2

According to Pinkvilla, Anil is ecstatic about the concept and instantly jumped into this idea. The source told the portal, “Anil was bowled over by the concept of DDPD 2 and it was an instant yes from him. The humor quotient in De De Pyaar De 2 is said to be a level above the prequel, with an interesting dynamic between Ajay Devgn and Anil Kapoor.”

The source further shares, “The tussle between Kapoor’s character and Ajay Devgn is the standout feature of De De Pyaar De 2. It’s a dynamic that got both excited as they have never shared an on-screen equation like this before. The sequel follows Ajay and Rakul’s comedic escapades as they strive to win over Rakul’s family.” Moreover, the report also mentioned that Anil Kapoor will be essaying the role of Rakul’s father.

In March, T-Series and Luv films confirmed De De Pyaar sequel on Instagram, Sharing an official note, they wrote, “De De Pyaar De 2 will release on 1st May 2025. The film is directed by @anshul3112, produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Luv Ranjan & @gargankur82. Written by @tarun.j.85 & Luv Ranjan.” The movie

Directed by Anshul Sharma, the film will go on floors in June 2024. DDPD2 is produced by T-Series’ Bhushan Kumar & Krishan Kumar and Luv Films’ Luv Ranjan & Ankur Garg. The first part was written by Luv Ranjan and directed by Akiv Ali who made his directorial debut.
