Animal director Sandeep Reddy Vanga REACTS to the Ranbir Kapoor starrer receiving A certification

Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal is one of the most anticipated movies of the year. Going by the hype and excitement, fans are waiting with bated breaths for Animal to hit its release date. As the movie is nearing to release in theatres, fans just cannot keep calm. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Animal recently received the ‘A’ certificate and the movie duration is duration is 3 hours 21 minutes. The director unveiled the same. And now, Sandeep has expressed what he feels about Animal receiving a A certificate.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga reacts to Animal’s A certification

The Animal director got into a chat with The Hindu wherein he opened up about the movie receiving an A certificate. As the upcoming movie of Ranbir Kapoor is not for those under 18, Sandeep Reddy Vanga is glad that Animal received an A certificate from the CBFC.

Speaking with the portal, he said, “As far as Animal is concerned, I’d like to say that I am glad it got an A certificate. It is not for anyone under the age of 18. I will not be taking my son Arjun, my brother’s kids or any of my cousin’s children to watch this film in the theatres. Maybe I will have another child-friendly cut of the film for them. I have children in my extended family between eight months and 17 years and this film is not for them.”

Not only this, but he also opened up about the commercial prospects of Animal. Sandeep stated that he cannot predict if the movie will earn Rs. 800 or Rs. 1000 crores, but he is confident that Animal will ‘move, titillate and make the audience think.’

Is Animal 2 already on cards?

As Animal nearing its release date has got the audience excited, the makers have already hinted at Animal 2. The promotions of the upcoming movie in Hyderabad were in full swing and the makers were asked questions regarding its sequel. To this, Bhushan Kumar said, “It is a surprise. You will come to know on the 1st of December.” Well, we are absolutely excited and are waiting with bated breaths for the ‘surprise’!

Speaking of Animal, it carries an impressive star cast of Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, and Bobby Deol in essential roles. The trailer of Animal unveiled a while ago and has left the audience mighty impressed. It showcases the troubled relationship between a father (Anil Kapoor) and son (Ranbir Kapoor). On this note, the Sandeep Reddy Vanga directed and Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal is releasing on 1st December, 2023.
