Mahesh Babu feels Animal is Ranbir Kapoor’s best work till date, calls him the ‘best actor in India’

As Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal is nearing its release date, the makers are leaving no stone unturned for its promotions. The cast and crew of Animal were recently promoting Animal in Hyderabad. They were joined by South superstar Mahesh Babu. During the press event in Hyderabad, Mahesh Babu was all praise for the Animal star and also called him the ‘best actor of India’.

Mahesh Babu praises Animal star Ranbir Kapoor

Mahesh Babu had opted for a simple blue t-shirt and pants as he attended the Animal press event. During the same, he said, “I have told him before when I met him but I don’t think he took that seriously. I am a huge Ranbir Kapoor fan and in my opinion he is the best actor in India.” Mahesh Babu also added that Animal is his best work till date, and congratulated Ranbir for it. The whole team of Animal was present at the event. Ranbir also got emotional at hearing praise from Mahesh Babu.

Responding to this, Ranbir Kapoor said, “You were the first superstar Mahesh Babu I ever met. I remember messaging him after watching Okkadu and he replied, and I can’t thank you enough for supporting sir.”

Ranbir Kapoor reveals why the movie is named Animal

Recently, Ranbir Kapoor was present at the promotional event in Chennai. During this, he shared why the Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial is named Animal. He said, “I think the reason why Sandeep Reddy Vanga called this film Animal is because animal behaves out of instinct. They don’t behave out of thought. So this character that I’m playing, he behaves out of instinct to protect his family. He is not thinking he is behaving out of instinct, he is impulsive, and I think that’s where the title Animal came and once you see the film you’ll realize that this film suits this title.”

Animal carries a stunning star cast of Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol. The Sandeep Reddy Vanga-directed Animal is nearing its release date on 1st December, 2023.
