Anurag Kashyap and film producer Pritish Nandy seem to be involved in a war of words on the microblogging site Twitter over the title of Kashyap’s next film. Earlier, Anurag Kashyap announced that his next film starring Bhumi Pednekar and Taapsee Pannu will have the title ‘Womaniya’. However, it has already been registered by Pritish Nandy Communications Ltd. Anurag alleged that he is demanding Rs 1 crore to hand over the rights.

Instead of giving him Rs 1 crore for the name ‘Womaniya’, Anurag Kashyap has decided to go ahead with another title ‘Saand Ki Aankh’. The film will be based on Uttar Pradesh’s two octogenarian sharpshooters – Prakashi and Chandro Tomar.

Taking out his anger on Twitter, the ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ director lashed out at ‘Shaadi Ke Side Effects’ producer Pritish Nandy for allegedly and illegally copyrighting the title ‘Womaniya’ and demanding a sum of Rs 1 crore. On Twitter, he wrote that he has decided to not pay the extortion sum of 1 crore to Pritish Nandy. Pritish can sit on the title and warm it and hope for it to hatch into something worthwhile for his company.

Taking to social media, Taapsee Pannu shared a picture of her along with her co-star Bhumi Pednekar and the two women, who fought all odds to change their destiny.
