The nation is fighting through the second wave of Covid-19 and any amount of help is more than welcome at this time. With patients waiting for hospital beds and proper medical support, Bollywood celebs along with the rest of the citizens are coming ahead in helping out the Covid victims and their family. Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli have also decided to do their bit and help out in this time of crisis.

Anushka Sharma recently took to her social media account and shared the reason why she did not celebrate her birthday this year which was yesterday. Anushka said she did not see a celebration to be right amidst this pain and suffering. But the actress is soon to come together with her husband and launch a ‘movement’ to help the Covid patients.

Taking to her Instagram account Anushka shared a video in which she is heard saying, “Hi guys I hope you are safe. Just wanted to say a big thank you to you all for all the lovely birthday wishes. Truly made my day special. But in the midst of all this pain and suffering, it just did not feel right for me to celebrate my birthday. But I have seen your special messages to me and now I have an important message for you. I would like to appeal to everyone to unite and support our country in this hour of crisis, Virat and I are coming together to do our bit and we will share details soon so that you can also become part of this movement. Remember we are all in this together. Guys please stay safe and take care of yourself. Thank You.”
