Aryan Khan has made headlines this year due to the cruise ship drug seizure case. The Mumbai Police on Wednesday shared an update on the extortion case, in connection to the cruise ship drug seizure case. In a significant development, the Mumbai Police said that they have found no evidence of extortion in connection to the drug seizure case in which Aryan Khan was arrested. The police officials mentioned that they have halted the probe in the extortion case, according to a report.

ANI reported on Twitter that the Mumbai Police said that the SET (Special Enquiry Team) had questioned around 20 people in the alleged extortion case. The report mentioned that as per the officials, no case was registered as no evidence was found.

The news agency tweeted, “Investigation of alleged extortion matter in connection with drugs on cruise case halted until next order. Mumbai Police had constituted SET (Special Enquiry Team) to investigate and had questioned around 20 people. No case registered so far as no evidence found yet: Mumbai Police. (sic)

For the unversed, the Mumbai Police had formed a special team to probe the alleged extortion angle after NCB independent witness Prabhakar Sail claimed that he overheard a phone conversation about Rs 25 crore demand from superstar Shah Rukh Khan.

Talking about Aryan Khan, the star kid was arrested on October 3. He was sent to judicial custody and released on bail from prison on October 30. The Bombay High Court had granted Aryan Khan bail on October 28. Aryan recently got a relief from the court as his plea for modification of bail was allowed. Khan seeking relaxation and modifications in some bail conditions.
