Aryan Khan recently attended a friend’s wedding, where he took his ladke wale duties very seriously during a game of joota churai. A video posted by the wedding planners shows Shah Rukh Khan’s son almost falling down. But he refused to let go of his best friend’s shoe in the midst of the playful chaos.

Zesst Events shared a clip on their Instagram from Rhea Nadkarni and Maahir Mehta’s wedding. Revealing that Maahir is Aryan’s best friend, they captioned, “When the Groom’s best friend is the BA****S of Bollywood. Between sneaky steals, dramatic negotiations, and laughter echoing through every corner — this wasn’t just joota churai, it was a total dhamaal.” The text on the video reads: “Joota churai turned into a full-blown mini war!”

In the footage, Aryan is dressed in jeans, a T-shirt, and a brown jacket. He can be seen walking around with the groom’s shoe in his hand, refusing to let it fall into anyone else’s grasp. Even as guests from the bride’s side try to snatch it away, he nearly falls but stays determined to hold onto it. Another part of the video shows Aryan fighting and pulling, refusing to let go of the shoe, before he finally runs away with it.

Aryan’s Debut

Aryan made his debut as a director with the Netflix web series The Ba*ds of Bollywood. He served as the director, writer, creator, and showrunner of the series. It starred Bobby Deol, Lakshya, Raghav Juyal, Mona Singh, and Sahher Bambba in lead roles. The show featured cameo appearances Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Diljit Dosanjh, and others. He has not announced any upcoming projects yet.

As for Shah Rukh Khan, he was last seen in the 2023 films Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki. He is currently filming a Siddharth Anand project titled King. The film also stars his daughter, Suhana Khan, along with Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji, Abhishek Bachchan, and more. It is scheduled to be released this Christmas. It has been produced by Gauri Khan, Siddharth Anand, and Mamta Anand.
