On October 3 afternoon, Aryan and seven others were officially arrested by the NCB. They were taken for medical tests post arrest.

Aryan was charged under sections 8C, 20B, 27 and 35 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. On October 3, he was presented before the killa court, along with others. Advocate Satish Manshinde has been representing him. NCB sought for remand till October 5, but the court gave Aryan’s custody till October 4.

Aryan’s bail plea was supposed to take place on October 4 afternoon and NCB sought extension of 8 persons including Aryan till October 11. Satish Maneshinde argued that custody shouldn’t be granted based on “Whatsapp chats”. But, the court remanded Aryan and others to NCB’s custody till October 7.

On Thursday, the metropolitan magistrate sent eight accused, including Aryan Khan, in 14-day judicial custody after the end of the NCB remand. Aryan’s interim bail plea hearing was yesterday (October 8) but his plea was yet again rejected by the magistrate as his application was not maintainable. The star kid has been sent to 14-day judicial custody in the drugs seizure case. Along with Aryan, five other men too were sent to the Arthur Road jail.

Aryan and others accused will spend the weekend in quarantine cells of the two prisons as the Sessions Court, where they will need to file an appeal for bail, would not be working on October 9. Maneshinde revealed in his recent statement that he will not be doing anything regarding the case until Monday. So, let’s wait and see what happens on Monday.

Till then you guys stay tuned to this space.
