Atlee And Priya Welcome Baby Girl; Jawan Director Announces Second Child’s Arrival With Sweet Post

Filmmaker Atlee – known for projects such as Jawan, Theri, Bigil, Raaka and more, and his wife Priya have welcomed their second child. After a son, the duo have now been blessed with a baby girl. Atlee took to social media a while ago and announced the happy news with a sweet post featuring his son, Meer. Scroll below to check out his post.

Atlee, Priya Blessed With A Daughter

On Monday, April 20, Atlee took to his social media accounts and shared a cartoon drawing of a toddler sitting on his toy car. Meant to represent his son, the text on the creative reads, “Yay! I’ve got a baby sister! Big Brother Meer. (sic).” The creative further read, “We, Priya & Atlee, are blessed with a baby girl (sic),” and included the date – April 20. The Raaka director simply captioned it, “Feeling blessed”

Several celebs took to the post’s comment section and showered love on the new parents. Samantha Ruth Prabhu simply wrote ‘Congratulations’ followed by three pink hearts. Kajal Aggarwal – showering love on the new parents and their family wrote, “Yayyy big congratulations lots of love to the little baby girl, parents, grandparents and most of all Meer” Ananya Panday also took to the comments section and wrote, “Biggest congratulations” followed by several hearts and a nazar emoji.

Atlee, Priya’s Pregnancy Announcement

On January 20, Atlee and Priya announced their second pregnancy with a series of images from her maternity photoshoot. They captioned the post, “Our home is about to get even cozier with the addition of our newest member! Yes! We are pregnant again. Need all your blessings, love, and prayers. With love, Atlee, Priya, Meer, Becky, Yuki, Chocki, Coffee, and Goofy.”

After dating for several years, Atlee and Priya got married on November 9, 2014. They became parents for the first time to a baby boy in 2023.

On the work front, the filmmaker debuted in the Tamil film industry with Raja Rani in 2013. Some of his most loved and famous films include Theri, Mersal and Bigil with Thalapathy Vijay, Jawan with Shah Rukh Khan and Varun Dhawan’s Baby John. He will soon be seen behind the cameras for Raaka with Allu Arjun.
