Duration: 123 minutes
Trust Ayushmann Khurrana to come up with something new with each of his on-screen outings and he will never disappoint you. As the trailer of ‘Badhaai Ho’ promised, the first half of the film is an absolute laugh riot.
Even though the film starts on a slow note, it gains pace as soon as the elephant in the room is addressed. Once the news of Neena Gupta’s pregnancy is broken, the film automatically turns into a laugh riot. From the background music to the performance of every single cast member, every scene in the first half is ought to tickle your funny bone. Ayushmann and Sanya’s chemistry is adorable.
Watching Neena Gupta on screen is a delight of an altogether different level. She along with Gajraj Rao literally stands out in every scene. Neena’s mother-in-law played by veteran actress Surekha Sikri is simply amazing as she lives up to our expectations. And Ayushmann’s kid brother though has only one or two scenes but still, manages to grab your attention.
The story of the film in the first half will keep you hooked and now we are eagerly looking forward to the second half. We hope its equally as good as the first part. Stay tuned as we will bring you the complete review very soon.
