Mid-Ticket Review: The first half of ‘Badla’ manages to keep you hooked to the edge of your seats
It’s not very often that we see good thrillers made in Bollywood and ‘Badla‘ is certainly a breath of fresh air. Both Taapsee Pannu and Amitabh Bachchan deliver restrained performances, but the real winner is Amrita Singh (she has a supporting role) who totally nails her part.
It’s refreshing to see Amrita Singh back on screen as a mother who wants to decode the death of her son. One thing that we’re looking forward to in the second half of the movie is how revenge (‘Badla’) will be taken and who will take it.
The cinematography of the film is another plus point and the cold weather of Europe is a perfect backdrop for the bone-chilling story.
