‘Bala’: Twitterati slam makers for Bhumi Pednekar’s dusky skin tone 

Ayushmann Khurrana, Yami Gautam and Bhumi Pednekar starrer ‘Bala’s trailer was unveiled by the makers yesterday. While the trailer gave a boost to meme-makers on social media, Bhumi Pednekar’s dark skin tone raised some pertinent questions for the casting director and the makers of the film. Looks like Twitterati is not so happy with the way Bhumi has been shown in the trailer of the upcoming film, ‘Bala’.

The film focuses on one of the most serious topics of society i.e premature balding in men. While Ayushmann Khurrana portrays the role of a bald boy, Bhumi plays his love interest in the film. The beautiful actress has been shown as a dusky lady in the trailer of the film. Turning a fair face into a tanned one with dark make-up makes Twitterati come forth blasting the makers in exasperation. And thus people have some serious suggestion for the makers.
