In an interview to Midday Jackie said, “I am aware that the age gap is only 10 years. We started our careers almost around the same time, but I don’t have any problem playing his father. I have always treated Salman like my bachcha. Even today, he is like a kid to me.”

He further justified his role in Bharat and said that is he can play the role of Kareena Kapoor’s father in Yaadein, Aamir Khan‘s in ‘Dhoom 3‘ . If the role is good and he is convinced about it then other factors don’t matter.

On the work front, Jackie Shroff will be seen as John Abraham’s mentor and an intelligence agency head in the film ‘Romeo Akbar Walter’. He also has a few south projects in his kitty including Vijay’s ‘Thalapathy 63’.
