Swara Bhasker, Richa Chadha and other B-townies hail Diljit Dosanjh after his Twitter war with Kangana Ranaut

Diljit Dosanjh and Kangana Ranaut had locked horns on Twitter yesterday after the actress misidentified an old woman in a farmer’s protest and said that women like her are available in Rs 100 to attend such protests. What followed next grabbed headlines. Read on.

Diljit had then slammed the actress and warned her to not mess with Punjabis or disrespect their mothers.

Diljit had put up a strong defence and he was widely applauded by his fans and Bollywood celebrities for standing up against Kangana. Swara Bhasker took to her Twitter and wrote, “Diljit Dosanjh is a STAR! Dil-jit actually! ?????????? @diljitdosanjh”

Richa Chadha took to her Twitter handle and wrote that Diljit made it clear never to mess with Punjabis. She tweeted, “Seriously, tussi saareyan nu public interest vichon daas ne aa , pubjabiyan naal lado ni plz”

Replying to a tweet that spoke about Diljit’s Punjabi, “Aaho! But Paaji Chaa Gaye aini thet punjabi ki mainu apni Bebe kol jaa translation liti,” Richa replied, “Tussi consistency vekho bass. O change ni honde.”

Not mentioning anything about Kangana or Diljit, but Taapsee Pannu retweeted an old tweet of hers that read, ““ਸਵਾ ਲਾਖ ਸੇ ਏਕ ਲੜਾਊਂ, ਤਬੈ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਨਾਮ ਕਹਾਊਂ।”(Let’s fight for one and a half lakh, let’s name Gobind Singh.)

Mika Singh also took a dig at Kangana and asked her to apologise. He took to his Twitter handle and wrote, “I used to have immense respect for @KanganaTeam, I even tweeted in support when her office was demolished. I now think I was wrong, Kangana being a woman you should show the old lady some respect. If you have any etiquette then apologise. Shame on you..”

Reality TV star Prince Narula also bashed Kangana for her tweets against the farmer’s protest. He took to his Instagram account and wrote, “@kanganaranaut apne naam changi tarha padh twitter teh teh hun caption v pad. Tere naam ch he run out Teh veer @diljitdosanjh sada player hai Jatt phejde sida pavilion Teh tere varge de na care hai #wearewithfarmers #wearefarmers #westandforfarmers(sic)”
