Rajinikanth bomb threat

Earlier today, reportedly an unidentified person issued a bomb threat to megastar Rajinikanth. According to a local news channel, Thanthi TV the unidentified person called Chennai police and said that a bomb has been planted in Rajinikanth’s residence in Poes Garden. 

Chennai police is currently conducting a search operation with the help of sniffer dogs and bomb detectors at the veteran actor’s residence.

The anonymous call and the subsequent search at Rajinikanth’s house have created a disturbance in the vicinity of the actor’s residence with fans thronging to the place amidst Coronavirus crisis. And this is not the first time when bomb threats have been made to Rajinikanth. Previously, several such anonymous calls have been made and each time it has turned out to be a hoax. However this time the police is yet to confirm if its yet another hoax call.

On the work front, the actor was last seen in AR Murugadoss’ ‘Darbar’. The veteran actor will be next seen in ‘Annaatthe’ directed by Siruthai Siva. The film also features Keerthy Suresh, Meena and Kushbhu in pivotal roles.

Reportedly he will also star in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Tamil film which will be produced by Kamal Haasan. Post ‘Darbar’ that also released in Hindi, Rajinikanth is yet to announce his next Bollywood project.
