Alia Bhatt’s third appearance was notably distinctive. She arrived in an ivory corset saree complemented by a parasol customised by Tarun Tahiliani. This added a softer, more traditional touch to her Cannes journey. Moving away from dramatic silhouettes and maximalist fashion, Alia opted for an ivory corset saree that was both proudly desi and globally chic.

The embroidered ensemble featured a structured corset blouse with intricate detailing along the neckline. She paired the saree with a unique drape that subtly blended the fluidity of a saree with the sharpness of a Victorian corset gown. The actor wore a small bindi, a small nose ring and dainty earrings to complement her look in style.

The look was sleek, understated, and sophisticated. As she approached the pavilion, Alia was seen carrying a vintage-style parasol. Her desi look and classic accessories grabbed attention across social media. Her look was styled by Rhea Kapoor and Sanya Kapoor. While walking towards the venue, the actress was seen carrying an umbrella, customised as per the outfit. It instantly enhanced the old-world charm of her outfit.

The Bharat Pavilion, organised by the National Film Development Corporation (NFDC), continues its mission to promote Indian filmmakers and talent at major international film festivals. The 57th edition of IFFI is scheduled to be held in Panaji, Goa, from November 20 to 28, 2026. The newly revealed poster features a stylised peacock, a symbol long associated with the festival.
